Malaria Young Leaders Africa Accelerator (MYLAA)
This is a youth leadership platform designed to equip and empower young Africans to become influential advocates for malaria elimination. The programme strengthens leadership, advocacy, policy engagement, community mobilisation and innovation, enabling young leaders to contribute meaningfully to national, regional and continental malaria responses.
MYLAA promotes youth-led solutions, partnerships and accountability while positioning young people as active champions in the fight to end malaria in Africa.
My Health My Value Project
Advances young people’s access to accurate information, services and rights related to sexual and reproductive health.
The project creates safe spaces for dialogue, strengthens awareness of sexual and reproductive health and rights, and challenges stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS.
Through youth engagement, community outreach and advocacy, the initiative promotes informed decision-making, dignity, inclusion and healthier communities where every young person can access support without fear or judgement.
My Data, Our Health Campaign
Raises awareness of the importance of responsible health data governance in strengthening equitable and people-centred health systems.
The campaign promotes understanding of data privacy, protection, ownership, ethical use and informed consent while encouraging young people and communities to engage in conversations about how health data is collected and used.
It advocates for transparent, secure and accountable data systems that protect individuals while enabling evidence-based health planning and decision-making.
Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) outreach activities in Ghana and Tanzania.
Bring essential health information, awareness and community engagement closer to underserved populations. The activities promote access to reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health services while addressing barriers to timely and quality care.
Through community mobilisation, health education, referrals and partnerships with local stakeholders, the programme supports informed health-seeking behaviour and contributes to healthier women, children, adolescents and families.
Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD) Campaigns
Mobilise communities and young people to increase awareness, prevention and collective action towards ending diseases that disproportionately affect vulnerable populations.
Through health education, community engagement, advocacy and awareness campaigns, the initiative addresses misconceptions, promotes early health-seeking behaviour and supports prevention and control efforts.
By amplifying community voices and strengthening partnerships, the programme contributes to building healthier, informed and resilient communities across Africa.
Salama Hub, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support for Displaced Youth at Kabanga Border Community in Tanzania
This is a community-based mental health and psychosocial support initiative supporting displaced youth and other vulnerable young people in the Kabanga border community in Tanzania.
The initiative creates safe and inclusive spaces where young people can access psychosocial support, peer engagement, wellbeing information and referrals to appropriate services.
By strengthening resilience, social connection and community support systems, Salama Hub promotes dignity, recovery and wellbeing among youth affected by displacement and humanitarian challenges.
