Biashara Kitaa

Is a youth-focused entrepreneurship and economic empowerment programme designed to equip young people with the skills, knowledge and opportunities needed to build sustainable businesses.

The initiative supports aspiring and emerging entrepreneurs through business development training, mentorship, financial literacy, market linkages and innovation.

By strengthening entrepreneurial capacity and promoting access to economic opportunities, Biashara Kitaa enables young people to transform ideas into viable enterprises, create employment and contribute to inclusive economic growth.

Kappuu – Women Financial and Economic Inclusion

Is a women-centred digital financial inclusion programme advancing collective savings, entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.

Launched in 2022, the Kappu Finance App helps women’s groups, family savings groups, community organisations and small businesses manage savings, loans, contributions, repayments and financial records digitally.

By replacing paper-based systems with transparent digital tools, Kappuu strengthens financial literacy, accountability, resilience and access to inclusive financial services.
