The Climate Change Boot Camps
Are an innovative youth-focused platform by Imara Leadership Initiative designed to equip young people with the knowledge, leadership skills and practical tools to address climate change and environmental challenges.
The Boot Camps foster climate leadership, advocacy, innovation and community action, empowering participants to develop locally driven solutions, promote climate resilience, advance environmental justice, and contribute meaningfully to sustainable development across their communities and Africa.
Our Ocean Bootcamp
Is a capacity building program launched in 2022 which targets to train youth with passion and interest to gain an in-depth understanding of our ocean challenges and be empowered to take actions to conserve and protect the ocean and venture innovative sustainable blue economy with targets on sustainable utilization of the sea natural resources of Ghana and Tanzania.
Climate Innovation Exchange Bootcamp
Aims to gather young people in an exchange programme on developing innovative solutions on sustainable mobility , agri-foods and energy through practical capacity-building training which equips them with skills and capacity to innovate solutions to become active activists and agents of change.
Green Sparks: Youth Igniting Renewable Energy Change
Youth Renewable Energy Innovation Hubs, the project builds young people’s skills to design and implement green energy solutions, established 3 regional innovation hubs in three schools and universities equipped with solar kits, small wind turbine models, and battery storage systems, conduct hands-on training in solar panel installation, microgrid setup, and basic electronics.
The “Green Sparks Innovation Challenge” for youth to create locally adapted clean energy prototypes and provide mentorship from Ghana engineers and entrepreneurs in the energy sector.
